The MACE Course at our Medical Spa Academy is an intensive one-day program designed to equip participants with essential skills to effectively manage both life and non-life-threatening medical emergencies until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrive. This comprehensive course covers adult, child, and infant CPR skills, as well as automated external defibrillation (AED) techniques, ensuring participants are prepared to respond confidently in emergency situations. Price: $500 (Includes CPR training costs) Duration:*One day Course Overview: Course Content: 1. Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Skills: - In-depth training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques for adults, children, and infants. - Hands-on practice to develop proficiency in chest compressions, rescue breathing, and use of barrier devices. 2. Automated External Defibrillation (AED): - Comprehensive instruction on the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in cardiac arrest situations. - Training to recognize cardiac rhythms and safely administer defibrillation shocks when necessary. 3. Medical Emergency Management: - Understanding the principles of medical emergency management, including scene assessment and patient evaluation. - Strategies for effectively communicating with emergency dispatchers and coordinating assistance until EMS arrives. 4. Heart and Stroke Foundation Guidelines: - Our course meets the current Heart and Stroke Foundation Guidelines for Basic Life Support (BLS), ensuring participants receive training that aligns with industry standards and best practices. 5. Workplace Health and Safety Recognition: - Recognized by Workplace Health and Safety authorities, our MACE Course emphasizes workplace safety and preparedness, making it suitable for medical spa professionals and staff. Certification: Upon successful completion of the MACE Course, participants will receive certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from The Lounge Medical Spa Academy. This certification validates their competency in medical assistance and CPR skills, enhancing their ability to respond effectively to emergencies in both professional and personal settings.
